MoveOn.org anti-Catholic hate ad

We have dwelt considerably on the fact that MoveOn.org welcomed anti-Semitic hate speech, racist slurs, and 9/11 conspiracy theories at its Action Forum. Here is some of MoveOn's equal-opportunity hate for Catholics. This was not, incidentally, posted at the Action Forum. It was an official MoveOn.org publication.

There is a huge difference between disagreeing with America's policy on Israel and the Middle East and publishing anti-Semitic hate speech and outright blood libels of Jews, as the Action Forum did. There is similarly a difference between disagreeing with the Catholic Church on abortion and publishing a hate picture of the Pope. From where we sit, MoveOn.org is a despicable hate organization every bit as repugnant as the Ku Klux Klan (which also dislikes Catholics).

Propaganda posted on the Web site was laced with blatant anti-Semitic attacks. Postings repeatedly referred to Lieberman as "the Jew Lieberman," and "ZioNazi Lieberman." These attacks were by no means unusual. Indeed, anti-Semitic slurs against Israel and Jewish Americans, and belittlements of the Holocaust, appear regularly in MoveOn.org Web forums.

In a representative post, a MoveOn.org member compared President George W. Bush negatively to Adolf Hitler, writing, "Bush is no Hitler. Hitler was a socialist and believed in something beside money. He did not dodge real military service and he believed at least in Germany, which was a real nation and not a corporation like the U.S. Moreover, Hitler did not use depleted uranium and phosphorous to burn people alive. He did not condone the torture of prisoners 'for fun' or 'to relieve stress.'"

MoveOn.org: "I knew Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler was a friend of mine. Believe me, Mr. Bush, you are no Hitler."

Leftists; don't bother invoking Godwin's Law regarding the swastikas. The anti-Semitic material at MoveOn.org's Action Forum is in fact similar to material that was used by genuine Nazis to evoke hatred of Jews. As an example, saying that Jews blew up the World Trade Center is little different than saying that Jews make matzos out of the blood of German babies. Saying that the Bush Administration blew up the World Trade Center on 9/11 is simply a variant of the same; applying a blood libel to Gentiles does not make it any less evil.

MoveOn.org house parties in your area

MoveOn.org members are holding house parties around the nation, at which the movie "Iraq for Sale" will be shown. Be sure to dress appropriately for the MoveOn.org event. The clothing shown at left seems appropriate given the nature of the racist and anti-Semitic hate speech that was posted, with the full knowledge and approval of MoveOn.org's moderators, at MoveOn's Action Forum.

While most of the Action Forum's hate speech was directed at Jews, one bigot advised that African-American soldiers be segregated and disarmed as potential mutineers while another used a racial slur to refer to Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice. These statements garnered overwhelming approval from the other MoveOn.org Action Forum participants. The organization in the picture, in fact, has enough sense not to say in public nowadays what was said on MoveOn's Action Forum.

All right-- let's be serious. Most people who are holding the MoveOn.org house parties are not aware of the fact that MoveOn welcomed the most vicious imaginable hate speech at its Action Forum, and it is up to us to inform these prospective hosts as opposed to lumping them with MoveOn's racist and anti-Semitic elements. They must be informed, however, that the Action Forum's content went far beyond poor-taste Jewish and Negro jokes; its purpose was to evoke hatred of Jews and contempt for African-Americans.

What issue unites pro-Israel Democrats like Sen. Frank Lautenberg and the National Jewish Democratic Council with Moveon.org, who has been badly embarrassed by the hateful, anti-Semitic postings of the kook fringe on its blog? It’s discrediting Sen. Rick Santorum, a conservative Pennsylvania Republican currently locked in a bruising fight for re-election to a third term.
In an op-ed in The Washington Times in August, Robert Goldberg detailed how hundreds of postings on Moveon.org’s Web site rail against Jews, using terminology like “Jew” Lieberman, “Zionist Cyber Trolls,” “Zionazis” and the like, who are said to be colluding with the Bush administration to damage the United States.

MoveOn.org knew of anti-Semitic slurs in 2004

Jan Poller has granted permission to post some of his material to show just how pervasive anti-Semitism and other forms of hate are at MoveOn.org. This includes correspondence with MoveOn.org that proves that MoveOn.org has, for the past two years, been knowingly and willfully allowing its Action Forum to be used as a gathering place for anti-Semites and other bigots.

Mr. Poller sent the following to the Washington Times in response to Eli Pariser’s (aka Eli Parasite’s) pathetic lies regarding the content of the Action Forum.

Mr. Pariser was somewhat less that truthful about what happens on the “SpeakOut” forum of MoveOn. I started visiting the forum after the first International Answer/MoveOn.Org anti war demonstrations.
I found that the forum was decidedly anti-Israel with some anti-Semitic tinges (“Jews own the Media”). As time went on, it became more and more openly anti-Semitic.
I would post pro-Israel messages and would point out the errors in the Anti-Israel/anti-Semitic messages. Some times, my messages would disappear. Several times, I was kicked off the forum and I would come back under another name. People writing the anti-Semitic messages were never kicked off. [Wcan verify this from our own experience with the Action Forum.]
When I first went on to MoveOn.Org’s website, they had an article saying that Barak had walked out on the Camp David talks, not Arafat. I (and others) wrote a letter pointing out that President Clinton, Ambassador Ross and others said that Arafat had walked out, not Barak. I received a letter back (unfortunately lost in a disk crash) saying that interns wrote the article and that the author (whom I believe was Eli Pariser) was only responsible for editing the article and not its accuracy.
MoveOn.Org managers claim no responsibility for what is posted on the website, even when it is in their own name. At the same time, Mr. Pariser admits that they can and do remove messages. He claims that they are for open discussion, yet prevented me from presenting arguments in favor of Israel. They have tolerated open anti-Semtiism for years. Only now, that it is public, are they doing something about it.
I have attached a log of such messages. They can’t be hidden.

This pretty much proves that Eli Parasite, excuse us, Pariser, lied when he said that he was surprised and appalled to “discover” the vicious hate speech on his Action Forum after Robert Goldberg shoved his face in the excrement with his letter to the Washington Times, and after we forced Pariser to eat said excrement with our reply to his pathetic excuses in the Washington Times. We believe that this last piece of correspondence proves beyond a reasonable doubt that MoveOn.org is an anti-Semitic hate organization that is every bit as repugnant as the Ku Klux Klan, and that any politician who accepts its support should be treated like one who accepts an endorsement from the Klan:
