Dear Morris:
While in China, I have been distressed to learn that some individuals back home have questioned whether my views on the Ku Klux Klan have somehow changed since 1980. Nothing could be further from the truth.
In 1980, I said that I have no tolerance for what the Klan represents, and would have nothing to do with any groups of that type. If anything, my feelings on this subject have only grown stronger. The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry practiced by the Klan and others have no place in this country, and are destructive of the values for which America has always stood. Those of us in public life can only resent the use of our names by those who seek political recognition for the repugnant doctrines of hate they espouse.
I firmly believe that there is no room for partisanship on this question. Democrats and Republicans alike must be resolute in disassociating ourselves from any group or individual whose political philosophy consists only of racial or religious intolerance, whose arguments are supported only by intimidation or threats of violence.
We must, and will, continue our unified rejection of such elements of hate in our political life, for while there are many issues which divide us, it is fundamental principles such as this which will always draw us together.

This is what Barack Obama did after MoveOn.org knowingly and willfully allowed its Action Forum to be used as a platform for racist, anti-Catholic, anti-Semitic, and anti-Christian hate speech, along with 9/11 denial.

(9/11 denial is like Holocaust denial, except it writes off, excuses, or blames on the Bush Administration and/or the Jews four missing airplanes and two missing skyscrapers instead of six million missing Jews and three million missing Polish Catholics.)

In fairness to Barack Obama, he is not the only individual who lent his name and prestige to an organization whose members use "Jew" as an epithet while saying that the "Catholic Pedophiles of America are raping your children." As shown by MoveOn's Web page, Sherrod Brown and Russ Feingold also did not "resent the use of [their] names by those who seek political recognition for the repugnant doctrines of hate they espouse."

As shown by the transcript of Barack Obama's speech, it took place in or after mid-September 2006--at least three weeks after MoveOn's promotion of hate speech was a well-known scandal. This is the sort of thing that was public knowledge when Obama chose to associate his name and image with this hate organization. As an example, "Jew" was used as an epithet to describe Obama's fellow Democrat, Joe Lieberman of Connecticut.

The fact that this post was not removed by the moderators of MoveOn’s Action Forum really irritates me, because it is patently anti-Semitic. But what makes it even worse is that the post has received a 70% approval rating.
I have heard and read on several other blogs, and even in a couple of newspaper editorials that MoveOn.org has been accused of anti-Semitism, but this puts no doubt in my mind it is true!
And don’t use that tired veil of an argument saying that just because you hate Israel doesn’t mean you hate Jews.
Joe Lieberman is a fine American and has served the Democratic Party well. Even if one does not agree with his politics anymore, there is absolutely no reason to defame his name by calling him “Jew” Lieberman. An what’s worse it is shocking that 7 out of 10 people on this forum agree to this kind of ethnic slander and intolerance. I am ashamed I ever joined this political movement.

Although MoveOn.org said it was taking its Action Forum offline "until after the election," "after the election" is now four months ago. We said back then that the disgraced Action Forum would never be brought back online, and we stand by that statement. If I were running MoveOn.org, I wouldn't bring the Action Forum back online either, because then everyone could see content like this:

We can all see how AIPAC/Israel has taken control of America. National Jewish Democratic Council lies yet again

Tonight, Bill O’Reilly attacked the “radical movement” that opposed the Nevada Democratic Party’s debate with Fox News. O’Reilly said that MoveOn, “the Daily Kos or whatever that stupid thing is,” and others “use propaganda techniques perfected by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi minister of information. They lie, distort, defame, all the time.”

Not only does the National "Jewish" Democratic Council lie, it lies clumsily. It begins by accusing O'Reilly of comparing Democrats to Nazis and then quotes material that shows that he compared MoveOn.org or perhaps Daily Kos to Nazis. If he was talking about MoveOn.org, he is right, because MoveOn.org posted hate propaganda that could have come straight from real Nazis. And then NJDC tried to whitewash MoveOn.org, because it has all the honor and self-respect as a two-bit whore.

O'Reilly said nothing about Democrats. He apparently said plenty about the racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Catholic hate organization MoveOn.org, about which plenty needs to be said.
